Application of ZL Catalyst in HPF Gas Desulfurization
Now there are over ten types of catalysts used in desulfurization in coke-oven gas through wet oxidation process, but these catalysts have the disadvantages of inability of organic sulfer removing, low desulfurization efficiency, uneasy seperation of sulfer foams, high cost of desulfurization, etc. ZL catalst is a new type of complex catalys, with the advantages of traditional catalyst, and can be used in gas desulfurization independently. It has been successfully used in many coking plants, and has shown its excellent characteristics.

1 Propeties of ZL Catalyst
The application of HPF desulfurization shows that ZL catalyst has the following advantages:
(1) It can be used in coke-oven gas desulfurization of different sulfer content. Its desulfurzing and cyanogen removing speed is fast, and desulfurizing efficiency is above98%, cyanogen removing efficiency is above 90%.
(2) It can remove inorganic and organic sulfur in gas at the same time.
(3) Comparing to other catalyst, it can make sulfur foams big and easy to be seperated; it will not block the equipement; its dosage is small, and operation cost is low.
(4) It has good selectivity when generating sulfer. Therefore, the salts from desulfurization is slow to grow, cheap to treat, and slightly polluting the environment.

2 Application of ZL Catalyst

ZL catalyst can whether be used independently or used together with prcric acid.
